  We stopped in for breakfast at a busy time on a Sunday. Service was good. The food was delicious. Portions are large and everything tasted very fresh. Bacon and eggs were cooked exactly as we wanted them, which was impressive given how busy they were.

  Food good, bread excellent, service extremely slow (at least at brunch). Be prepared to sit for 20 minutes or so while waitresses walk back and forth in front of you endlessly before agreeing to take your order. I lost count at 20 before we were addressed. Then started counting the number of times a waitress came by and said I'll take your order in just a second. Three so far over the last 12 minutes. Very frustrating. Have even tried sitting at the bar. Just as slow.

  Definitely NOT closed permantnely. The name was changed, but the diner is still there, serving great diner food. I think the new name is "Glenside Diner," in a nod to the Filmore Glen just a couplel hundred feet down the road.
